The movie was poorly thought out and seriously lacked science-fiction intellectualism. They only cared about making a thriller that didnt have to make sense or be smart at all, they just wanted the money of making the movie, not caring what crap they released. And don't get me started on that whole Mel Gibson, priest, faith and destiny plot they had going either. |

Don't get me wrong, it is well filmed and crafted so you are on the edge of your seat, but they seriously messed up on the Aliens' weakness.

Most importantly, I did not fall asleep, and actually watched the whole thing. Good or not, something about it made we want to keep watching, and that's what counts in the end. |

In every movie, I expect a flawless storyline, like in every book. If they don't have it, I call the story a piece of

The whole Allies backdrop was only that, an excuse to make a religious flick Mel Gibson style, where hope and determination along with some forgivness crap is the whole point of the movie. The allies thing was just an excuse...most of what Timo said I also thought and laughted with my buddies when leaving the theatre...LOL...They were to adavanced they did not even have a stupid laser pistol and had to attack with their claws and could not manage to break down a freaking old wodden basement door. A freaking muzzle loading Pirate pistol would have helped them conquer the earth..They can travel through space but have to attack with their claws and have nothing like a space suite..that would...hello!!!...shield them from that water.

I have to say that amongst Shyamalan's movies my favorite was The Village, though. Sixth Sense was pretty cool too in the sense that it started it's own cliche. |
