My results, Im not suprised at all:

You scored as Traditional Catholic. You look at the great piety and holiness of the Church before the Second Vatican Council and the decay of belief and practice since then, and see that much of the decline is due to failed reforms based on the "Spirit of the Council". You regret the loss of vast numbers of Religious and Ordained clergy and the widely diverging celebrations of the Mass of Pope Paul VI, which often don't even seem to be Catholic anymore. You are helping to rebuild this past culture in one of the many new Traditional Latin Mass communities or attend Eastern Catholic Divine Liturgy. You seek refuge from the world of pornography, recreational drugs, violence, and materialism. You are an articulate, confident, committed, and intelligent Catholic.

But do you support legitimate reform of the Church, and are you willing to submit to the directives of the Second Vatican Council? Will you cooperate responsibly with others who are not part of the Traditional community?

Traditional Catholic - 79%
Neo-Conservative Catholic - 57%
Radical Catholic - 57%
Lukewarm Catholic- 50%
Evangelical Catholic - 41%
Liberal Catholic - 33%
New Catholic - 29%

WTH is an evangelical Catholic? I suspect that it has to be related to what someone told me time ago. That his grandfather was a "minister" of the Catholic Church (in the U.S.). I got surprised as I argued that there is no such thing, and that someone married cannot administer any sacrament or give mass, unless very exceptional circumstances applied.. or?

The Irish are one of the most ancient nations that I know of at this end of the world, and are from as mighty a race as the world ever brought forth.
For it is certain that Ireland hath had the use of letters very anciently and long before England; that they had letters anciently is nothing doubtful, for the Saxons of England are said to have their letters and learning, and learned men, from the Irish.
- Edmund Spenser (writer, and British Government Official in Ireland, AD 1596).

The renaissance began in Ireland seven hundred years before it was known in Italy. And Armagh, the ecclesiastical capital of Ireland, was at one time the metropolis of civilisation.
- Arsene Darmesteter, Professor of Old French and Literature

Ireland can indeed lay claim to a great past; she can not only boast of having been the birthplace and abode of high culture in the fifth and sixth centuries . . . but also of having made strenous efforts in the seventh and up to the tenth century to spread her learning among the German and Romance peoples, thus forming the actual fountain of our present continental civilisation.

Tiago, no matter how you view it your culture is still that of a Catholic as your world views are influenced by your Christian upbringing.

Even your screen name, Tiago.

The "Old Catholics", as they call themselves, are a group originally from Germany that broke away from the Catholic Church in the 19th century over the dogma of Papal Infallibility and The First Vatican Council.

These are obviously taken from a Roman Catholic source.
I'm sure those belonging to such groups have their own versions.

Cristiano Viejo significaba pues espiritualidad, fidelidad, honor y sangre.

Cristiano viejo. A good source.

Marco Pollo: in Portugal, "Old Christian" (cristão-velho) used to mean all those who were originally christians from the time of the reconquista, before the forced conversions of some mozarabs and the expelling of the moors and jews.

New Christians (cristãos novos) were not necessarily of non-spaniard racial type (mozarabs were in fact of european stock but of muslim religion).

You scored as Liberal Catholic.

You embrace the social justice mission of the Church, and the view of Catholic community as seen in the Acts of Apostles. You have a great love of the American democratic tradition, but tend to want to apply these traditions to the Church itself and the deposit of faith. You want a married and female clergy, decen
