Speaking from a secular point of view, Traditional Catholicism is probably one of the very few things that may save Europe from Islamization. However how strong are they? Is their number increasing or decreasing? It would be interesting to know the trends.

Certainly in the minority.
There are "Traditionals" within the mainstream Church such as Ecclesia Dei and FSPP but they pretty much have to tow the official line and many of the the Traditionals elsewhere regard them with suspicion.

The SSPX are probably the largest Traditional Catholic org.
They have churches present all over the world.

AFAIK, attendence at mainstream churches are decreasing, while the opposite is true of Traditional chapels.
However, it may be too late by the time they grow in size to have any significant effect.

A purge of the corrupt hierarchy would be far more efficient

For it is certain that Ireland hath had the use of letters very anciently and long before England; that they had letters anciently is nothing doubtful, for the Saxons of England are said to have their letters and learning, and learned men, from the Irish.

Therefore love toward your own nation is not contradictory to love for the whole of mankind; they complement each other. All of the nations are children of God."
