Steatopygy of Khoisanid women

A picture from Bakers book "Race" about the steatopygy, the typical fat built-up of the buttock which is more common in Sanids, but Khoids as well and still more often than in other races in the Kafrids (Negrids of Southern Africa) which points to a certain degree of mixture of core Negrids with Khoisanids if its about the formation of the Kafrid Southern Negrid type.

There are different theories why this is more common in Khoisanids from beauty ideal (though Bushmen seem to like tight buttocks as well, especially in young women even more than steatopygy) or storage function or just defect by chance etc.

Some black women in the US are steatopygous and, as a matter of fact, I think it can be seen in low percentage among whites and even Mexicans. Has anyone ever seen a steatopygous Mongoloid? I have not.

Ho yes, the famous "Hottentote Venus". There was that story about Saartjie Baartman, an hottentote female brought in Europe by "evil" european men in the 19th century. It was said that she worked in some freak show. The corpse was kept in France in a museum untill South Africa claimed it. It was send back to South Africa to be buried in 2002. I've seen european women with big enormous arses, but never steatopygy. Black women tend to have bigger butts than europeans or whites (whatever you call it), besides it is accentuated by their natural camber.
