Dominique de Villepin l’a annoncé mardi devant l’Assemblée nationale : il est hors de question de changer l’orientation de la désastreuse politique menée depuis trente ans par la gauche et la droite. Le Premier ministre a ainsi débité son catalogue de promesses : une aide aux associations et autres « grands frères » de 100 millions d’euros, la création imminente de « préfets délégués à l’égalité des chances et d’une grande agence de la cohésion nationale à l’égalité des chances », bidule chargé d’accélérer la mise en place d’une préférence ethnique et/ou étrangère qui ne dit pas son nom. En outre, 2000 policiers supplémentaires devraient être recrutés en 2006, quinze nouvelles zones franches créees et « 20 000 contrats d’accompagnement pour l’emploi et contrats d’avenir » réservés aux jeunes issus de l’immigration, la création de 5000 postes d’assistants pédagogiques dans les établissements scolaires des cités « sensibles » ou encore « l’abaissement de l’âge de l’apprentissage à 14 ans », ce dernier point figurant dans le programme du Front National depuis plus de dix ans, a d’ailleurs souligné le Front National de la Jeunesse. Analysant les mesures défendues par M. de Villepin, Jean-Marie Le Pen a noté que cette « annonce d'une nouvelle cascade de mesures de discrimination positive en faveur des zones de non-droit » apparaît comme « le tribut versé pour obtenir la neutralité de la gauche. Mais cela revient à doper une fois de plus le moteur de la pompe aspirante (de l’immigration) ». Mesures, ajouterons-nous, qui sont autant d’insultes pour nos compatriotes les plus pauvres, au chômage ou à très faibles revenus qui vivent dignement, dans le respect des lois, éduquent correctement leurs enfants et ne se sentent pas obligés de brûler des voitures ou d’attaquer les forces de l’ordre. « Ce n'est pas par une telle politique de Gribouille qu'on rendra l'espoir aux travailleurs français qui souffrent » a encore noté le président du FN, « ni à ceux qui voient des millions d'euros partir en fumée, ni à ceux dont les quartiers sont exclus de la manne étatique ». « J'appelle tous les Français, légitimement inquiets et excédés, à participer à la grande réunion que je présiderai lundi 14 novembre, à 18 h 30, à Paris, place du Palais Royal (métro Palais Royal) » .

From what I've been told, the square was full (maybe 2000). "Unfortunately", it was the same kind of peoples we can see on the 1st of May rally. Lots of elder peoples, Catholics and some young "FAF" (French to French). Le Pen made a speech.

I was told some peoples said they were astonished there were not more peoples who attended to the meeting. Where were the new aware peoples (those who live in the suburbs especially) woken up by the terrible "French Events" of the two last weeks?

Well, this "alliance" is a bad joke, trying to reconcile the irreconcilable. I think Strache of the FPÖ is just trying to figure out a way to get his party out of its tremendous debt through the funds to parliamentary groups in the European Parliament. What is especially disturbing is that apparently he also wants to integrate Romanian right-wing (not nationalist parties) which - as we all know - are run by former Securitate and communists, are philosemitic, neo-con Israel drones, corrupt, eccentric, neo-imperialist and defending the anti-national Paris suburb treaties of 1919. This alliance will never fly, especially because it leaves out members from Germany, Ireland, Portugal, the UK, the Netherlands, Finland, Greece and most eastern European states.

You might be right. I hardly see the FPÖ at the moment as "a great hope" but just a mean to reach certain small successes and keep certain things up, even that can be discussed.

Nah, FN et cie are better than main parties what share power for years and years. I prefer to vote FN -even if there are non-Europids and jews- than UMP (JC's party) or PS (leftists) for instance. Perhaps you'd prefer seeing us not vote at all? I don't think so.
FN et cie are softies to me, yes they're often pro-zionist and I don't like it, but it's better than nothing.
