That's true, but I think it's not the primary reason. The USA invaded Europe in order to add it to their imperium. They did it by pure opportunism, when the occasion to do it came their way.

I am not going to argue with what you say, because you base it on this false presumption. Not every kind of pan-Europeanism would result in that. You also have to remember to separate sovereignty and national sovereignty. Nevertheless, if you wont enter a discussion about it, then we cant discuss it, because I'm not the one expressing advocacy of the dissolution of your sovereignty or any other country or areas sovereignty.
