Question for the French here

I have read a French blog (in English, and unfortunately I can't remeber the link) where was a dispute between "Old French" and "New French" resp. their supporters. A French nationalist there stated immigrants do not revolt because they are poor since unemployed Jaques and Bertrand most definitely do not get more benefits than immigrants and some companies prefer immigrants for new jobs since there are are quotes that are to be fulfilled, so the people that truly are discriminated in fact are French in their own homeland.
The point I want to ask: is it true the last 40 years immgrants in France received a comparable sum of money/benefits like the French native population the last 100 (1000?) years got?

Ho, it may sound incredible but I wouldn't be surprised if it were (was?) true. What were the guys' sources?

No I don't think so. Many Ethnic French are poor as well (although official propaganda wants to make us believe - "French=rich ; foreigner = poor") and receive the same social aids as immigrants. This is simply not realistic. Even now immigrants aren't more than 20% here and 40 years ago they were 5% or so.
But with aids that were given to those immigrants we could have increased either aids to natives or the number of native pensioners.

With those aids the state could afford to pay a yearly grant per child born to a French national.

It's obvious that they don't bring in immigrants because people don't have children. They make it difficult for people to have children so that they can have an excuse to bring in immigrants.

Unfortunately I do not know the source anymore - I started this thread to ask French since it really sounds incredible.

The propaganda in fact makes a difference with "New Frech" and "Old French". From what I have seen some areas inhabitated by native French really are poor - compareable to the regions of the former communist GDR.

Here are no official statistics showing how much spent is foreigners, how big the handouts are spent to build mosques etc. - but one time, what a surprise, a state run political magazine brouadcasted some sums immigrants receive. There e.g. was a "hate" preacher that got 2400€ a month, he has a flat you and me can not afford and a Mercedes that is not easily to be found in on of us' garage...

Native European people are exchanged - nothing less. All this is done purposefully - former FRG chancellor Schröder one time said "Children and potted plants do not belong into one's flat".
