Some stuff creep me out, but nothing more Big-Brother-esque than Google's Keyhole software. Basically it enables you to use satellite imagery to zoom in anywhere on the planet (at least anywhere they have mapped). The zoom is incredible (considering this is "civillian" software, I can imagine what the military have...). Just to show it's potential:

I located myself too. I tried to find the house where I was born, and it was in the map -I think- but because the areas around it were not too detailed I couldn't locate it exactly. They all look the same without a vantage point! Anyway, my current abode and the wider view are attached.
