Default Slovakian property market

First, do we have anyone from Slovakia here?

I have mostly looked into the capital Bratislava. The country is now part of the EU. It is convenient to travel there and Ryanair have started flights to Bratislava. There is also SkyEurope, another low cost airline. Rental yields in Bratislava are very good at nearly 10 %. The projected capital appreciation is around 10 % in the next 5 years for many new residential projects. The country is developing fast. The GDP is growing fast (with around 8 % in 2006).

I'm looking into investing in the country. Which neighbourhoods in Bratislava do you recommend for buying to let?

Bratislava is also located quite central in Europe. It is also near Vienna and Budapest is not far away either. I know Budapest quite well. How would you compare it to Budapest?

Please share anything you know. Thank you.
