Incident Caught On School Surveillance Video

(CBS) NAPERVILLE, Ill. A high school student says he was slapped by a teacher at school, and the incident was caught on a school surveillance camera.

As CBS 2 West Suburban Bureau Chief Mike Puccinelli reports, some are defending the popular Neuqua Valley High School educator, who allegedly struck the student because he is dating a white girl.

The student’s mother told CBS 2 news partner the Naperville Sun that the incident happened on April 3 after the teacher, Akela Dillon, allegedly made a derogatory remark about her African-American son for dating a white girl.

The police department was notified of the incident the day after it occurred, according to Lt. Dave Hoffman of the Naperville Police Department.

Dillon was removed from her post.

Good, some one has to teach them a lesson. Becoming interracial get punished. However, a slap wtf? That's not a punishment. Sent him to jail for two years for armed robberry, he's black let him get used to it while his young.

In this very case, the boy isn't to blame. No one forced the white girl to date a negro, afterall.
