Who ever discovored the Americas first, one must bear in mind that it is Colombus voyage which is at the basis of the founding of the current American nations.

I've been watching the links now, they are all very interesting.

Up to today the only post amerindid and pre-columbian presence that has been dully proved is the Norse one.

According to what have been hearing here and there, the chinese possibility seem quite liable as well.

The other ones are still submited to conjecture.

What is your opnion about the 2 negroid skeletons that would have been found in US Virgin Islands?

It's the same with the negroid statues in Mexico (olmeca period).

The last link that I posted is about this:
http://members.aol.com/carltred/AfricanPresence.htm

BTW, I think many people (europeans, africans, chineses, etc.) were in America before Columbus. I just found some crazy the Croatian theory

Default Re: Vikings in South America

I think i heard on a documentary some time ago that they found traces of cocaine and tobacco in some ancient mummies from Egypt.

I believe both plants are only native in America ?

So have Egyptians already been to America ? or was there some trade connection ?

hmmmm interesting
