Forum upgrade

The forums have been updated to the latest version of vBulletin by this evening.

Thanks go to Turbamulta for this major upgrade.

There are some issues as most of the plugins installed with the previous versions do not work. We will upgrade/reinstall them as soon as possible, together with newer plugins and hacks for the 3.6 versions.

what or what will be the function of the "extra's" option?

I'm still unsure. It's an add-on that I installed a couple of days ago, but since I've seen other add-ons which do a similar function. The "Stirpes Toplinks" link was created with that same add-on.

I still have to fix the CountryFlag modification and a few other things. It was a major upgrade between 3.5.4 and 3.6 and Johannes did not leave any notes on what he had modified, so I have to guess and try most of the time.

There are a number of add-ons and modifications that I want to try in the next days. The reason why I document them in the hacks forum is to make it serve as a reminder of what there is installed or modified, and how.

Most of the modifications between 3.5.x and 3.6.x are internal or focused in administrator's functions. For normal users I think the multi-quote system is the major improvement.

You could at least have asked... It would take me time to reply, but I would reply... Do you still want to know how to fix that?

You don't have time for it from what I recall.

It's fixed now.

Also, fixed the following problems on "Private Messages":

- there was no link to "new private message" on the left bar
- the "reply" and "forward" buttons on the received PMs were not there

Problem: global.php file had stayed version 3.5.3.
Solution: replace with a 3.6.2 global.php file
