What evidence? That the Welsh helped the English? We are a very small nation... very, very small. I seriously doubt that fifty thousand or so Welsh soldiers who were drafted into fighting for the empire would make much - if any - difference, when it came to England's quest for world domination. There's is only 6 or 7 million people altogether in the Celtic areas of the country, as opposed to nearly 51 million in England.

Well, 'British' to me is a defunct word which needs to be done away with. It's basically a term used for anyone who is resident to the Island, whether they be Pakistani, Black, Welsh or Chinese. It's also amusing how the English refer to famous non-English people from history as 'Britons'. As though they don't want to admit that they are not English. Bastards!
