What happen's there. Famine and drought. Droughts in Europe are never as severe as the ones in China and India, Serbia has an abundance of water and India's population density is 329 per sq km while China's is only 140 per sq km. Not only that they haven't experienced any drought or famine in a long time and India's population is still growing. Futher more, i'm not sure about Bulgaria, but Serbia can produce more agriculture thern it currently can as it is largely inefficient (Serbia could probably produce enough agriculture to feed 70 million+ people if it's current agricultural resources are used to maximum efficiency, it can also introduce higher yielding and better crops and livestock. not only that the future of agriculture is vertical farming in which farms are housed in skyscrapers in cities). Serbia, Bulgaria, Greece and Vardarska (FYROM) can support more people since the population densities are small (84 per sq km in Greece, 70 per sq km in Bulgaria, 106 per sq km in Serbia (if one includes kosovo where it is 180 per sq km, with out it it is 98 per sq km), 79 per sq km in Vardarska). Greece can support more then twice it's current population, Bulgaria, FYROM and Serbia can all support larger populations more then three times larger.
