[Arthur Gordon Pym]

This article is extremely politically correct. Note especially that he calls the representatives of the Frankfurt School "German intellectuals". Well, most of them were born in Germany, but belonged to a you-know-which tribe.

It is written from an American perspective, which is legitimate form the author's point of view, if he is American. But there are some strange assertions and views in it. The author seems to perceive the Frankfurt School as a small but wicked group of people who ruined the whole American culture through their philosophical writings. A small cabal of philosophers destroyed the whole America. How? They must have been extremely powerful or disposed of some magical skills?

He fails to assert the basic logical fact and that is that these "Frankfurters" were only ideologists for a certain agenda. But there must have been some powerful structures who carried out their ideas and conceptions in the real life. Their ideas were activley promoted by the Establishment and by the capitalistic ruling elite of the US and Western Europe. The author seems to presuppose that America was some sort of idyllic, innocent and naive country before the arrival of these evil Frankfurters, who corrupted it entirely. Not very probable...

Nevertheless, this is a very interesting theme. Because the whole "mass-culture" which is poisoning Europe today and is coming from America, is deeply permeated by the spirit of the Frankfurt School.
