Tirana. The Albanian government called on Greece Monday to tackle with the anti-Albanian attitudes in the Greek army after a video was posted on the Internet, showing Greek soldiers singing an insulting song about Albanians,
AP reported. The Greek Defense Ministry said that it was checking the authenticity of the video.
“We definitely condemn such phenomena”, spokesman for the general army staff said. “Such activities, if they really happened, don’t reflect the feelings of the Greek people to our neighbouring country”, the spokesman added.
