Firstly, the women don't give a crap. Most of them, at least.

The other birth control methods prevent the fetus from being concieved at all. It tricks the body to think that it's already pregnant with their hormones-- so nothing happens to the woman when she has sex without condoms, not even a little ball of cells dies. Just nothing is created.

The birth control you are thinking about is "the morning after pill" which is what a woman takes 72 hours after having unprotected sex (if she doesn't use a condom or have the above methods). That is the one that kills the little ball of cells (if it had been conceived).
