If we speak about future presidental elections then there are some possible candidates, like Medvedev (he was at Davos, afaik) or Ivanov (defense minister).
What we lack today is normal healthy not lunatic style, not commie/ex-commie nationalist party. And no party is even close to this description.
F.e., already mentioned Rodina ("Fatherland") have split from communist party. RNU (Russian national unity) seem to average people like militaristic sect with sieg-heilings/rahowa.
