So Islam could lead Europe back to the Dark Ages? It is interesting to notice that he believes that Europe was pushed into the Dark Ages before, by another force which was not Islam. Shame that he forgot to mention its name.

“We oppose immigration by people who are alien and even hostile to our European and Western values,” said Mr. Dewinter

Someone should ask him to name each and every of those European and Western values which he mentions. I suspect that they are Liberal values that have much to do with the fall of Europe.

In conclusion, he brought the audience to its feet by addressing Americans directly. “We share the same Western civilization,” he said. “Join us in our struggle for Western survival!”

This alone calls for a sanitary cordon.

Mr. Vanhecke predicted his party will suffer further attacks from opponents who care nothing for democratic principles or the will of the people. “Freedom of speech is absolutely essential,” he said. “We ask US citizens to protest this lack of free speech in Europe.”

Soon there will be more immigrants than natives, and all they can think of is freedom of speech. God how I despise the beggars of free speech.

If Americans do nothing, he warned, they too will be strangled by European-style totalitarianism. “We are fighting for the West,” he explained; “we are fighting for you.” He, too, brought the audience to its feet, with a ringing quotation from The Lord of the Rings: “Men of the West, stand and fight!”
