Chuvash are mix of some Turkic, Fenno-Ugrian and Iranian tribes. Their language is Turkic with many Iranian words as well. They have some Bulgarian blood, but it's almost vanished in the years. T. You can't claim they are Bulgarians because they aren't.
Also, nobody knows for sure what kind of language did the ancient Bulgarians speak.
