That is right. Money is largely unseen but can probably control just as well as force of arms, if not more so. Were the colonies actually freed as we are told, or are they now largely kept down by means of finance?
I tried finding out the history of the Kenya Times, as to who who presently owns it (ie the same who own The London Times?) but couldn't find much. There is often quite a story to tell in those facts alone.
