Default Re: Farewell to the United States of Europe: Long Live the EU!

The title of this article is rather disingenuous. It's a lot like those politicians who argue and debate for 'assimilation' rather than 'multi-culturalism', and or vise-versa, when the end result with either false choice is exactly the same as they well know...the destruction of the distinct European peoples...their main concern being that the unwanted mass immigration continues into the country they supposedly represent. Similarly the person who has written this article surely knows if but unconsciously that whether they call it 'The United States of Europe' or the EU it is no matter...that the final result is the same. The writer may be also counting on Europeans not realizing that historically the United States is also known as 'the American Union', that they are synonymous.

Quote:
Let us not deceive ourselves: the United States of Europe, that simplistic dream which has set the greatest minds on fire for more than two centuries, is dead.
Would this be another example of multi-culturalisms' marked propensity to invert the truth, ie that should he believe this, that not only does he deceive himself but he deceives others, and that the 'United States of Europe', or whatever other name it might be called, is not dead at all?
