If it is a nation's destiny(for survival?) then so be it,disaster or not.Serbia has been a thorn in the side of 'Empires',past and present, and always will be,wanting to be 'carved-up' by it's 'neighbors'.Blame it on it's geographical location perhaps or the people's stubborness not to accept things 'alien'
Even our brand of Orthodox Christianity had to be 're-paganized' to be accepted by the masses.It is just something that 'outsiders' do not understand and to be honest I'm glad they don't and I would never wish it upon them either...
