I only drink wine with my father, he knows much more than me...
Red wines... I prefer Bordeaux to Bourgognes.
I'm not a fanatic of White Wines (what we call
blanc secs here) but "sweetened" Whites (blancs moelleux) are nice.
Rosés are quite nice in summer (with ice). Some vins de pays (petits vins) are also not bad.
Gewurztraminer and Riesling (Alsace), vins jaunes (Jura), Jurançon (the Pyrenees) and vins d'Anjou are my favourites.
