True. Zhukov and many German generals were - militarily speaking - genius. Especially Rommel in my opinion who is remembered not only for his military achievements but also for his reputation for chivalry towards his enemies.
As for Guderian, I've still to say that most of his theories were inspired - by his own account - by de Gaulle and his book "
The Army of the Future" (1934) - his book "
Achtung Panzer!" was published only in 1937. It's only that Hitler listened to him while in France nobody listened to de Gaulle...
