Re: 8 December - Immaculate Conception of Our Lady
Immaculate Conception, isn't this based on a mistranlation from the old scribes ? The first bibles were translated from Latin, in the Latin versions Mary is called a Virgin, but in Latin Virgin doesn't mean a Sexual unexperienced person but it means " Unmarried ", so as we know Jezus was conceived while Mary and Joseph were still engaged to be married, this was not done so to say to descendants of the House of David. So it needed religeous approval so to say in the form of an Angel and the Holy Spirit.
A sexual unexperienced person in Latin is called "Vigin Intacta".
Its also clear from the bible that Mary and Joseph had more children so she never could be a virgin intacta for life:
Matthew 13:55 brothers of Jezus are named James, Joseph, Simond and Judas.
Luke 2:7 and Matthew 1:25 Jezus is mentioned as Mary's 'Firstborn'.
Matthew 13:56 and Mark 6:3 describe that Jezus had sisters.
Another example for misunderstanding is the fact that Joseph was a carpenter, it has been translated from the Semite word 'naggar' this word refers to a Craftsman, but can also mean Teacher.
