Default Re: Russian Patriotic March

November 4 is People’s Unity Day in Russia. Although this day has a new name, it originally was a holiday to commemorate the liberation of the Moscow princedom from Polish invaders in 1612.

Below is footage taken by participants in the march. The people being filmed are heading towards a meeting location. The activists are chanting "RUssiya" to emphasize that the Rus, or ethnic Russians, are the rightful inhabitants of Russia, or the masters of their own house, while others are merely outsiders. They are also chanting "Slava Rossiya!" (Glory to Russia!).
