Too many to appeal to the general population and be able to break a barrier limit of voters.
As far as I know NPD's gains are happening in traditional Left strongholds of industrial areas with high rates of unemployment. So far it looks like if the Socialist's loses are being the NPD's gains.

In Spain,
Democracia Nacional is sunk and in a slow process of dissolution. The new alternatives are
Plataforma per Catalunya (and other "plataformas" being created in other parts of Spain) or
Iniciativa Habitable (Madrid and Alcalá de Henares so far). The background of the people behind these alternatives is more varied than that of the NPD and their direction different to that of the Germans.
However, they are all alternatives on the make (except for PxC which already has representation in some townhalls of Catalonia).
