Re: Antisemitism and the Extreme Right in Spain (1962–1997)
About CEDADE, I admire the work they did in cultural and publishing terms.
However, my critique to CEDADE is that they wrongly evolved around foreign concepts and ideas (Germanicist ones) in Spain, and that they focused and wasted much resources in publishing and promoting texts against The Holocaust.
The rationale behind my critique is that they should have focused in publishing and promoting texts to uncover a series of lies which had been thrown against a nation hundred of years before: The Black Legend.
In the centuries long stigmatization of Spaniards through The Black Legend, Spain has been alone in most dignity. The Black Legend was not only the work of Jews, but also of Germanics like the Dutch and the English.
Thus, even when one must admit that CEDADE did an excellent job, they erred in the direction.
