Frp started as a protestparty againt taxes, stupid laws, bureaucrazy and immigration a man age ago.

The idea that Frp still is a protestparty, are the desperate argument against Frp, that its opponents desperately has cling to. That rags were laid off long before the end of the last millenium, and has ages ago became a litani for for the PC ghosts, the new stalinists of the ruling Labourparty, the multicultural nymhomaniacs of the leftwing, and the kramers and small business men of the Conservative party.

Its populism must be understood the way that it represents the peoples will as it is, and not as any party wish it was, or tries to force it to be.

The party is the most disciplined of the Norwgian parties. During the 80`s and the 90`s, Carl I. Hagen merciless cleaned the party for its liberalistic wing, and then its rightwing, which in short could be said to not camoflage its nationalism and "sceptice" against foreighncultural immigrants as prescribed from the official party evangelium.

The party is unified behind the leadership, that has been extremely stabile, with Hagen as unquestioned leader for nearly 30 years. The new party chairman, Siv Jensen has the whole party behind her, and are probably the next primeminister of Norway, according to the prospects of today.

Frp has for the latest 30 years claimed a decent lawwork, that punishes criminals instead of rewarding them. Norwegian lawwork and juridic practice has become a joke that generates crime and drags criminal immigrants here like flies to a cowcake.

Frp has for the same period also worked for restablishing a plausible Norwegian Defense, that has been badly weakend through the years of socialists rule.

Also on the peoples welfare, Frp has shown a responsiblity beyond our old prison guards in the traditional ruling parties.

When it comes to schools and education Frp are ready to invest more than any other party. Frp has been, and are willing to use a larger share of our oilfortune for investements that shall benefit the old and the sick, and for educational purposes, now.

The party line is uncomfortably pro Israel, but the major stock of its voters are as the rest of the Norwegian population rather reserved concerning Israel. However the nationalistic currents in the party are potential, andninders the party from taking an pro EU view. From an popular view by Frp members, EU membership is inviting furthermore free range blacks here.

Carl I Hagen, that has retired from the position as chaiman, still enjoys the position of Vicepresident for the Storthing, that is considered the position in rank no. 3, after the King and the Storthing president.

He seems to have loosened his tongue even more to manys great plaesure and others severe critics.

1. INTRODUCTION

Fremskrittspartiet was founded as a protest movement against the nanny state and the interference in personal freedom associated with it.

This was directly expressed in the Party's name which became Anders Lange's party for greatly reduced taxes, charges and state interference.

These thoughts are also expressed in the Party's mission statement which says:

«Fremskrittspartiet is a libertarian party which will work towards greatly reduced taxes, charges and state interference, and look after the rights and freedom of the inhabitants in accordance with the Constitution»,

as well as in the Party's manifesto which says:

The social policy of Fremskrittspartiet is founded on a belief in, and respect for, the uniqueness of the individual and the right of individuals to control their own lives and finances. The individual is the greatest resource in the development of society. Together with the family and the right to private ownership, the individual is the basis of society.

Fremskrittspartiet is totally opposed to discrimination on the basis of race, gender, religion and ethnic origin.
