Progress Party tops poll Source
The populist Progress Party, (Fr.P, socalled dark blue ) continues to win support and has now topped a survey of the nation's political parties
In the new poll the Fr.P rose a whopping 4.7 percent points, from 27.1 percent to 31.8 percent to become Norway's most popular political party.
The dominant governing party and traditionally Norway's largest, Labor, fell by roughly the same amount - from 33.1 percent to 28.7 percent - on the Opinion poll.
The Conservatives are the third largest national party, with 14.4 percent support, a tiny fall of 0.2 of a percent point since February's survey.
Government partners the Socialist Left Party (SV) and the Center Party both fell a bit in popularity. SV's sharp drop in support since becoming part of the majority alliance has slowed to just 0.2 of a percent point, but with just 7.3 percent support. The Center Party fell by the same amount, to 4.5 percent.
