There is a member of Stirpes who met Leon Degrelle as he belonged to a group close to him. I'll leave this reminder to myself to ask him to post something when he is back at home.

As for me, I wasn't much of an Europeanist at the time.. if at all. I was in groups which were strictly only about Spanish Nationalism and Patriotism. So I never felt the need to meet Degrelle.

Today, I realize that in that particular point (Europe, national isolationism) we were wrong and they were right (though only there). Or maybe not. Maybe the times were different and so was the struggle. There are many good reasons for us not being Pro-Europeanists then. And there are many good reasons for us being Pro-Europeanists today. But today for me the reason that overrides all other reasons is having met a number of good peoples from different nations and regions of Europe.

If I have to be, then it must be for the true and free Europe and not for some spawn of Anglo-American Western construct.


Time to pay tribute to Leon Degrelle at the very least for his loyalty to his beliefs and to Europe, which he maintained like no one else did through all his life and with all the consequences which that entailed through times which were difficult as today's are.

A noble soul who deserves to live in the memory of all true European Nationalists.
