Re: America versus Islam versus Europe
In Austria, Germany and the Lowlands I believe that the immigrants identified with Islam are the Turks. In France, Italy and Spain and Portugal they are the Moors (from the Maghreb countries: Morocco, Algeria and Tunis). In England, Wales and Scotland they are mostly Pakistanis, but not just. In Serbia it is the Albanians (also in Italy) and then of course there is the problem with Kosovars and Bosnians. In Russia there is the Chechens and others. I don't know if there are identifiable groups in other countries like Ireland, Poland, the Baltic Countries, Czek Republic, and others.. Same for Scandinavia, I'm not sure which is the dominant Muslim ethnic group in those countries.
This reminds me that I forgot another interference of the U.S. in Europe, to favour Islam: The Balkans.
