searcher of truth is correct. Milano is the wealthiest city in Italy and the members of Lega are just doing it for the money. Sure, there is some cultural elements in the north not found in the south but its like that just about everywhere in Italy and cultural differences can change even from town to town.
I think the time of the lega is up really. They got a lot of hype out of fear of a second Balkans-like conflict erupting in Italy, but it never happened. In fact, if I am not mistaken, the wife of Bossi(or another top lega nord figure) has Sicilian blood. Hmm..a member of the lega mixing with people of a different race?how did that happen?
