Default Re: The Moral Matrix

These were my results for the short test:

Quote:
Your scored 2 on the Moral Order axis and -2 on the Moral Rules axis.

The following items best match your score:
  1. System: Conservatism
  2. Variation: Moderate Conservatism
  3. Ideologies: Capital Republicanism
And these for the long one:

Quote:
Your scored 1.5 on the Moral Order axis and -0.5 on the Moral Rules axis.

The following items best match your score:
  1. System: Conservatism
  2. Variation: Moderate Conservatism
  3. Ideologies: Capital Republicanism
Quote:
Moderate Conservatism is the variation of Conservatism that balances Conformance and Independence.
People in this category will tend to have balanced opinions about enforcing the moral order (religious conformance, strict family values, lesser freedom of expression, stricter laws...) and about favoring individual initiatives (lower taxes, less corporate and environmental regulations, ...).
Even when this description is too short, i guess it's in accordance with my views, at least in general terms.

Politically, i am in favour of a restricted democracy --as opposed to universal suffrage-- in which only certain sectors of society (ideally, the most acquainted and better educated) shall be allowed to have full political rights.

To make it short, my ideal system might be described as a "Meritocracy" in which, the more hard-working you are and the more initiative you show --as individuals or a group of indivuals-- towards the improvement of your community then the more freedom you will have in your life; and as a consequence, the ones that do not make much efforts or contribute little to nothing to the community will run the risk of having their liberties restricted (see above) and their standard of living could end up being rather low.

The average score (red bar) was in the Social Democratism ideology(ies).
  1. Moral Order: -1.48
  2. Moral Rules: 0.56
