A-ha! yet, I had not noticed before the signature. Even romans and greeks even if they represented some fairer types, I scarcelly -even never- have seen so light typer. Excepting probably the Pella Mozaic but as someone claimed, color pallets in mosaics were usually limitated...

In the second mozaic, Dionisios seems to carry a golden crown over a dark mane

The mosaic below is obviously fictitius:In real life is quite hard sometimes to kill a lion with a shotgun (you must be really sure that you'll get him before shoting...) so hunting a lion naked and with just swords...
