This is not the issue... France is doing its very best to mix all the “hexagons” , it is an uprooting machinery. It is self evident that, generally, someone who has 100% or 50% Breton blood will feel more Breton than someone who is 25% Breton, 25% Flemish, 25% Occitan and 25% French. As a result of this huge mix , there will be no alternative, every "Hexagon" will automatically feel "French"...
Maybe I am quite untypical then. It was quite fortunate that my father gave me a Breton first name (good to strengthen your identity feeling) and sent me to bilingual schools (Diwan). My father had a passion for Brittany even before he moving there, it may be due to his name, which is of Breton origin, who knows, maybe going back to his roots? He may even have been in contact with some autonomists...
