Re: Crimes of Ukrainian Nationalists in Slovakia
I was reading something last night about the different viewpoints of Polish historians concerning Polish-Ukrainian relations, and stated that much of the common Polish assestment of the UPA was the product of Communist propaganda. It also noted that a number of Polish historians even admit that the Polish government was in many ways overly harsh to the Ukrainian population, which set the stage for a violent backlash.
