Hmm, there is/was the same "wave" here among homosexuals. Some sick guys who "felt guilty of being healthy" after their testimonies...
I agree, they should have been gathered and kept away from the healthy population, for the good of the community.
More than 20 years ago, a french "PI" politician had declared that those peoples should be put in quarantine, he had proposed to open what is called "sidatoriums" (after french word sida -aids- and sanatorium), but nobody payed attention to sida at that time and "sidatoriums" were highly criticized by the "tolerance party".
"Ironicaly", what had been seen at that time as an "inhuman solution" was created 10 years later, and "
sidatoriums" are now a reality in France... but much too late.
It could be done yet imo, but with a real vonlunteer politics, not late measure.
