I'm not sure about this but I think the Vatican has always maintained this a forgery. That Jesus had siblings is widely believed amongst Protestants as far as I'm aware, but it is not something that is generally believed in Catholicism. Thus any tomb supposedly belonging to Jesus's brother was always going to be suspicious
