What I hate is the fact that many Maltese think that Malta’s neutrality is equal to no possible future attack by another country.

Well, yes it is, why should anyone want to invade Malta?First of all Malta is a member of NATO, so if anyone ever attacks Malta this will be an attack against NATO and if such an attack ever happens this will be the 3rd world war, so Malta will be your last concern

Europe does need a strong allied military force, especially to keep illegal immigration in check, which is a plague here. Also countries like N. Korea and China are becoming more hostile by the minute. Missile-shield programmes against ICBMs and the sort are practically non-existent in Europe, as far as I know, and barely anything is being done to stall the threat of a nuclear attack.

How do you imagine an allied European army keeping illegal immigrants away? You have border police and immigration control buros for that.
Even though North Korea has nuclear weapons, they don't have the necessary missiles to launch them anywhere further than a 2000km radius.China, on the other hand, is definitely not hostile towards USA, let alone Europe, so I have no idea what are you talking about.

Hey, anyway France has nuclear weapons, so if a non-European country tries to invade an EU-country, we have to defend it (though I don't know whether this obligation is already existing or if it is in the future Constitution).

Just a reminder, in world politics, nobody cares how white or European a certain country is.It just doesn't matter and wars aren't fought over sentimental issues, so if France doesn't have direct economical, political or whatever benefit, France as well as any other country probably wouldn't give a shit.On the other hand, if a there is some kind of war in Europe, this will be very serious.
Internation armies are indeed a joke, armies nowadays aren't what they used to be and are more or less obsolete, especially in Europe.
