Freedom is the liberty to pursue your goals and state your opinion without censorship.
Liberalism is a doctrine which envisions that the individual should be free to act unregulated in his economical and social activities (unregulated in the sense that the State in which he resides does not control his action or even regulates them).
Liberalism per se is more of a political/economical construct than a social philosophy, IMHO.
