Re: False Conflict: Christianity Is Not Only Compatible with Science—It Created It
One would expect some proof to your assertions AWAR. Saying simple and unbacked statements such as "blatant lie" should not be the way for someone probably professing a sort of Scientism and apparent disdain for Religious Dogma. Wouldn't someone like you require proof? Why don't you provide it yourself?
Give some substance to your post if you want to be taken seriously, otherwise it is just a very empty post which has no solid backing in relation to your ideas.
Regarding your first assertion, I do remember the Media attempting to discredit the Roman Catholic Church because somehow Columbus proved that the Earth was round. This was mostly Italian TV plus documentaries probably produced in the Western World.
Regarding Scientific and Technological Devolopment in relation to Christianity you fail to tackle the Theological points provided by the author by none other than St. Thomas Aquinas, St. Augustine, and Tertullian for example. I can only presume that you either do not have the time or will to do so, or most probably you are incapable to do so and this time you cannot really enjoy attacking Religion, and Christianity in particular.
