I said Japanese food was horrid looking. I did not mention taste. Actually Japanese food is always presented well as far as crockery and garnishes. I mentioned Korean Kimchi as I have seen it made once too many times. A disgusting process and very smelly. The finished product is O.K Lots of things smell rather horrid whilst being made eg sauerkraut, at least those I saw in Hungary made in those pots.

When it comes to food I look at it from my professional point of view in microbiology and public health.
