That's right. Stalin and Lenin hated Russians even more than any other nation I would say. All kind of ethnic "characteristics" were just tools for them and did not mean anything serious, comparing to the Global Revolution. It was not a good example, talking about kommunists, who actually half-ruined Russia, debilizing and genociding people, Russians, Ukrainians, etc.
Russian-haters, please speak about tzars and old times better. There is the key of relations. There you will find a lot of ill-based ambitions of the Poles and simple ignorance re. this from the side of the Russians. Poles have always dis-liked, preciseley were jealous and envious. And Russians just did not care.
And do not forget, that in Russia there are about 100 000 etchic Poles and about 1/2 mio. of Russians of Polish origin.
