I think that many second generation immigrants find themselves in a very strange place. Society wants them to assimilate, but they don't feel Dutch/Swedish/Spanish and aren't treated as such. Good post. They are ostracised in Europe but have no other real identity to turn to: they no longer have even a foot in their parents' world: not linguistically, not culturally. Radical Islam is a sham, no solution at all. Unfortunately Stirpes is not the place for such people (it would change beyond recognition).
A strange place, this modern world. At least we should be glad of knowing who we are and where our roots lie.
