Although Prof. Bacevch is a distinguished man of his field I do have doubts regarding any man teaching in the politically socialist bastions of American Universities.

It matters more whether what his says is true or not than the fact that he is teaching on some "Socialist" university. And all American universities are Socialist in your opinion, or what?

Of course Prof. Bacevich also lost a son in Iraq so he would be arguing the "Conservative" cause for Obama because Obama is against the war.

Obama is a dangerous man if you were a conservative/patriotic American (especially one of European descent).

After all Obama surrounds himself with people who denounce America and its society.

Of course I have come to find many here are so blind in their hatred for anything "American" many of her greatest strengths and attributes are due to her European heritage.

Most of us do not wish the American "way of life" and philosophy being shoved down our throats. And that is what has been done in the last decades in Europe.
