Re: "The Right Choice?" The American conservative case for Barack Obama
And your point? Although Prof. Bacevch is a distinguished man of his field I do have doubts regarding any man teaching in the politically socialist bastions of American Universities. Of course Prof. Bacevich also lost a son in Iraq so he would be arguing the "Conservative" cause for Obama because Obama is against the war. I sympathize and honour the service of his son but I have to disagree with the Prof. Obama is a dangerous man if you were a conservative/patriotic American (especially one of European descent). After all Obama surrounds himself with people who denounce America and its society. Of course I have come to find many here are so blind in their hatred for anything "American" many of her greatest strengths and attributes are due to her European heritage. Then again let me throw this bone out to the rabid dogs here. Are we here in Europe and in this forum so arrogant and blind to denounce "strong and patriotic" Americans (along with Canadians, Australians, Kiwis, and White South Africans)when they are actually our closest relatives in regards to culture on this Earth? I joined this group in September and commented for about a month until I was very disillusioned with the tone of many members (some of the more senior members in particular). Just putting my toe in the water to see if its ok to jump back in. Yes this a group for European Nationalists but if we want the Nationalist case to hold water we should embrace our cultural/ethnic cousins globally or the arguement is flawed.
