Default Re: Why Serbia Is Winning The Battle Of Kosovo

I think U.S. policy in Eastern Europe is largely about containing Russia. The U.S. support for Kosovo secession should be seen in the context of trying to humiliate and bully Russia, and the U.S. missiles in Poland should also be understood in this context. As should the expansion of NATO and the EU to the East. Keep Russia weak and out of Europe is one of the key strategies of U.S. domination of Eurasia, and Brzizinska outlines in his book The Grand Chessboard. But I wonder what effect a Balkan conflict could have on EU resistence forces in Western Europe, particularly England. I Know that in the 90's some Britons went to Yugoslavia to vollunteer in the struggle on various sides. Perhaps this outbreak of conflict in the Balkans could lead to a greater struggle that will threaten the stability of the EU. Hopefully.
