I draw a line at European. I'd rather not date outside of that sphere. I would love to date an Englishman but that's not really realistic at the moment because there simply are no Englishmen in the area. I wouldn't mind dating a Russian, German, etc. but I would understand that there would be cultural differences that would make things more difficult (this is why I'd prefer an Englishman).

If I fell in love (I'm doubtful on this concept of "falling in love") with a man from a different European nation I may or may not go with him. It depends on cultural and ideological compatibility. I wouldn't have so much of a problem, I think, with a Welshman, Scotsman, even Irishman... I also wouldn't mind a Dutchman, though this is starting to become more and more different. (Linguistic barrier is irrelevent to me as I can learn languages easily).

The most important thing for me is similarity in ideology.

edit: If it wasn't already known, I'm just English. ^^
